Guidelines to the General Public
for participation in the Auction for Corner and Intermediate Sites.
1) The corner sites are auctioned as per KUDA (Disposal of corner and commercial sites) Rules 1991 and Intermediate sites are auctioned as per the disposal of stray site guide lines [G.O.N. UDD 291 MIB Date: 24-11-2004. The person willing to participate in auction has to follow these rules and guidelines.
2) The notification for corner/stray sites is published in leading newspapers and in the notice board and in the notice board of the authority and other important public offices.
3) A person willing to participate in the Auction can collect Auction participation form from Vijaya Bank, MUDA, Mysore by paying necessary fees and he should fill up the Auction participation form and attach the following two documents along with Auction participation form.
a) Two recent passport size coloured photos
b) The identity proof of the person in the form of election I.D card\PAN Card\Driving License\Bank Pass Book or any other I.D Card carrying photograph of the person
The auction participation form has to be filled up properly by the applicant and submit it to the Bank Counter along with a deposit of Rs. 20,000/- for collecting the token only those persons who have obtained the auction token will be allowed to participate in the Auction.
4) The person willing to participate in auction for more than one site needs to take multiple token i.e for each site one individual token is to be taken. The tokens are not transferable.
5) The bonafide person having auction token will only be allowed entry in the auction room after checking their identity.
6) No auction token will be issued after 11:30 AM from Bank. The authority reserves the right to deny any person from participating in the Auction who comes after 11:30 AM
7) Auction is started sequentially i.e. site bearing Serial No. 1 in the advertisement will be taken up first. For each site the auction officer will announce the details along with the authority price to start the auction. If there is no bidder for a particular site, such site will be put for re-auction in the coming months, after giving due publicity.
8) During the bidding process every person has to tell his token number and bid amount which will be noted by the Accounts section in the bidding sheet.
9) During the bidding if one comes forward to bid more than the last bid then the site will be confirmed in the name of the highest bidder which will be announced in the auction hall.
10) The successful bidder needs to pay 25% of the auction value on the same day as per section of KUDA(disposal of Corner and Commercial sites) Rules 1991. This 25% amount can be submitted in the form of Cash/ D.D. in the name of commissioner, MUDA, payable at Vijaya Bank, MUDA Branch Mysore, along with Rs. 100/- being the N.O.C. Charges.
11) After receiving the 25% of the bid amount the auction confirmation letter will be dispatched to them along with N.O.C for raising Bank loan, Challan for payment of 75% amount and title deed application from by registered post.
12) The authority reserves the right to cancel any auction if there is a case of mis-representation, insufficient document a financial loss to the (Disposal of Corner and Commercial site) Rules 1991.
13) The Authority price for any corner and stray sites is a confidential information which will be disclosed only at the time of auction.
14) Strict action will be taken against the person who tries o obstruct the smooth functioning of auction.
