PUBLIC NOTICE

 

The public is hereby informed that earlier City Improvement Trust Board(CITB) and now  Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) has acquired large extent of land based on consent from the land owners after paying due compensation to them.The possession of the land has also been taken. A few instances of selling of these lands by land owners have come to the notice of the Authority. Such transaction is illegal and it amounts to cheating and duping.  The public are hereby instructed   to verify the details of land and its status from MUDA before purchasing it.  At many times, the name of MUDA does not appear on RTC especially for consent land due to some technical reasons. So RTC is not the final proof and public should verify title from MUDA office as well.

 

For the convenience of common public, the list of land taken by authority on consent in different villages of Mysore City is being forwarded to the District Registrar’s Office and D.C.Office, and is also being put in the web site: www.mudamysore.org.

 

There are large number of private layouts coming up in the Mysore City and adjoining areas.  As per KUDA Act and KTCP Act, every layout has to be approved by development authority as per regulation.  Hence, public is hereby warned to check the authenticity of private layout and its approval by MUDA before purchasing site there. The MUDA approvalnumber and plan of layout duly signed can be seen for verification.  If there are any instancesof new illegal layouts come up, public is requested to inform the Commissioner, MUDA or Town Planner Member MUDA.
